Stay Amidst the Forest and River

The lodge offers basic but well-maintained accommodations managed by the Forest Department. Rooms and dormitories are available with attached bathrooms and limited electricity, powered mainly by solar energy. Guests can enjoy the peaceful sound of the river flowing nearby and wake up to the calls of birds and animals in the wild.

Safari and Nature Walks

Gairal lies in the Dhikala zone and offers excellent access to early-morning safaris through dense forests and grasslands. Wildlife sightings often include deer, wild boars, elephants, crocodiles near the river, and sometimes even tigers. Birdwatchers will find this location rewarding, especially for spotting water birds, raptors, and forest species.

Perfect for Peace Seekers and Naturalists

With limited accommodation and fewer visitors, Gairal is ideal for travelers seeking peace and solitude. It’s a favorite among nature photographers, birders, and conservationists who prefer the calm of the jungle over crowded tourist spots.
